We're so proud to be working with Edwina and her cooperative of batik dyers in Accra, Ghana, to make these prints! Learn more about these fabrics here!
In order to create a batik fabric, recycled wax is melted and applied to the fabric using a stamped pattern. Edwina carves each stamped design herself in foam, which is easier to repurpose and work with than wood. Together with several women in Accra, Ghana, Edwina and her team always create designs that play on both pattern and layered color in a truly original way. Since we began working together in 2018, we've produced over 40 unique textiles together, keeping them in continuous production since we started. We're so honored to share this collaboration with Edwina and her team!

I do think the large size fits but the upper arms are too small for the rest of the shirt so I have had to buy XL to be sure they fit me. Have seen others also noticing this.
The only other thing I would say is that it would be great if your shirts could also be made from the same patterns as the dresses sometimes that would be wonderful? GREAT success you have!! I also have a shirt company called ShirtStory (www.shirtstory.co) so I never thought I would want to buy anybody else's shirts😃🤣but now I only wear yours and mine👌👍

I love this shirt. fits just perfect, like all of the other Zuri size Large. The sleeves are long enough for my regular long arms, not just creeping up on my wrists like most shirts do. The fabric is ..... I love it. This will become my wear over and under everything shirt.

I ordered this and the first time I wore it I received so many compliments on how I looked. I paired it with jeans, several men (whom I did not know) complimented me.. I wish there were more shirts! Love Zuri dresses and shirts!

I bought this design months ago and was on the fence about how it looked on me for weeks. I was planning to return it but actually couldn't let it go.
I tried it on again recently and decided it's a smash hit. The heavenly blue is excellent medicine for the New England winter I am currently experiencing.
I am sympathetic with Kathleen's review above, one has to decide if the irregularities in the printing are gorgeous or a flaw. In any case the process is obviously robust! I also am lucky to have many Zuris in my closet!

I love this top! And I have several Zuri tops that I love and appreciate the unique irregularities. But with this particular top be prepared for many irregularities in the print/dye process. The solid gray-blue areas have many unexpected dye variations that look like mistakes or stains but are part of the natural dye process. When I first opened it I thought that these marks were oil stains. I want so badly to love it but someone else saw it on me and pointed out a "stain" that was not a stain but an irregularity. I am considering returning it but I'm on the fence because I love the color and the pattern! It would be helpful to mention the type of marks in the description of the garment so people are prepared.
