I work for a non-profit that resettles refugees from all over the world in Spokane, WA. I love to wear Zuris when I am doing community engagement events because they shout of the beauty of cultural diversity. Periwinkle is my favorite Zuri so far. I love the blue color with my white hair. The fabric is slightly lighter than my other Zuris, so even though I tend to be warm most of the time, I was able to wear it here in summer, and the flowers are so vivid! I always get lots of compliments from total strangers when I wear it. 5 out of 5!

I visited Burundi and Kenya about 10 years ago,, and fell in love with the vibrant fabrics the women wore! I love this dress because it brings to my memory all of the wonderful designs I remembered from that trip. It fit perfectly and can transition nicely into fall over leggings or tights.
