These textiles are a part of our 100% Made in Kenya collection and were printed in Kenya on Kenyan grown cotton. The print was designed by Shadé Akanbi, who is based in Brooklyn, New York. She also designs exclusive products in collaboration with other artisans, locally and internationally, as well as special momentos collected throughout her travels; curated from local markets to international bazaars.

Love this dress. The bright green with purple flowers is a great color combination. I also love that it is light weight. I love longer dresses as well. I’m 5’7” , so this length works better for me. I like my clothes to fit big and have some extra room, so I usually order large in the regular dresses, but a medium works in this dress because the arm holes are a little bigger.

This stunning dress came out early in the maxi releases and I did not think it would be my style. But seeing other Zuristas sport it - the usual pathway to ruin - I decided that I needed it, desperately. Of course, it was sold out by then, so I stalked the site in hope of a restock. Thankfully it got re-released and my eager fingers snatched it up at once. Since I've also discovered that tailoring these maxis is fairly easy, even with my very rudimentary skills, I promptly slimmed this green beauty for a more fitted look. I wore it a couple of times already and feel majestic in it. I was not sure this green would suit me, but am finding it vivbrant and joyful. The fabric is light and perfect for the summer - my new favorite look.
