Gorgeous fabric but wish it was easier to get on

I am big Zuri fan and have a number of the dresses and one pair of the wide pants. This was my first skirt (they are new to the line). I fell in love with this fabric but when the skirt arrived in my usual size, it was really hard to pull on, despite the elastic waistband. Once on, the skirt fits well, but wish it was easier to get on and off. I may have to take it to a tailor and get a zipper or more elastic added. Perhaps it is the gathering below the waistband that causes this problem? Zuri, please fix so I can order more skirts from you!
