Meet our production partner, SOKO Kenya! Based in Kikambala on the Kenyan coast, they are an ethical manufacturer that truly embraces a fair, kind and transparent work culture. Colors are more saturated and deeper toned in person than on the website photos. Substantial fabric but it’s soft. The twinkle light yellow dots throughout combined with the white line details give the pattern a lot of contrast and movement. Im reminded of butterfly wings and impressionist paintings especially when looking at the print from a distance.
I was expecting to get the dreaded duvet cover vibes with this print, but I find myself loving it a lot now that I see it in person. I always get compliments when wearing Zuri, but this dress in particular gets a lot of positive feedback from total strangers as well as from my colleagues when I wear it to work.

After some troubling biopsies, I had a preventative double mastectomy in July. The experience has changed me; I want to LIVE as ME, uninhibited. Skylark seemed to express this new philosophy and I wore it on my first day back in the office to TONs of compliments. It was my first Zuri, and definitely won't be my last!

Initially I was attracted to the yellow dots that weave a line throughout the print, and which add a fab dimension to the peach, brown & blue leaf pattern... I also really like how easily this pattern lends itself to wearing as a dress or as a duster... its versatility makes it a winner... the leaf placement on mine is magical.
