I originally bought for the colors red white and blue to wear for Independence Day in the US, but it's all purpose. I can't explain why it makes me happy except it's soft and the pattern delights me. Here I am shopping for quilting fabric.

This is not as in your face as some of the prints but very wearable. I wear it with red Bakelite and red shoes .
