This dress has a lot of colors to pull from. I ultimately decided on another print, but for try-on I was impressed by how many colors this dress looks great with. Beetroot or magenta is a really nice accompaniment.

I was a tad of a late adopter of Zuri maxis, and did not order Rooftops when it first came out. But it kept intriguing me in others' photos, so I decided to give it a try. On its first outing - to an art exhibition opening, on a chilly night - I wore it as a duster over leggings and a black sweater. Complements poured in. One woman stopped me, asked to touch the fabric (its 3D effect makes it look textured) and take my pocture. I felt both sassy and elegant, striding around in this fabuous dress, and now am fully addicted to maxis. They are as versatile as the regular dresses, and maybe more imposing for formal occasions. I will be wearing it by itself on warmer days and layered when I need to be warmly glamorous.

I love the graphic impact of this multicolored pattern, which is universally flattering. The silhouette is much slimmer than the original silhouette, which might require sizing up if you’re got a curvier figure on the bottom. However, because the silhouette is slimmer it’s not overwhelming on a more petite stature. There’s a reason this silhouette has been selling out!
