In order to create a batik fabric, recycled wax is melted and applied to the fabric using a stamped pattern. Edwina carves each stamped design herself in foam, which is easier to repurpose and work with than wood. Together with several women in Accra, Ghana, Edwina and her team always create designs that play on both pattern and layered color in a truly original way. Since we began working together in 2018, we've produced over 40 unique textiles together, keeping them in continuous production since we started. We're so honored to share this collaboration with Edwina and her team!

This dress is soft and oh so pretty! The purple has blue tones to it and the pink is so light and lovely. I’ll be doing all I can to wear this one in multiple seasons. Seems to be a bit larger than other sleeveless I’ve bought. I washed it in cold with color catchers and was glad I did as they caught a bit of the purple. I’m 5’6 and it’s borderline too short for work without leggings or tights, but would be fine for events or weekend outings. I think this will become a favorite.

Catchlight is gorgeous! It's lightweight and flowy and goes with so many colors. I can add layers to wear in a cold office or enjoy the heat because it's sleeveless. My school pictures are going to be amazing this year!

This is, hands-down, my favorite Zuri. Crisp material that isn’t heavy with a fantastic print and colorway that stands out and is also not wildly intense but interesting. I bought it when it first came out and I believe that I have worn it upwards of five times since then.

I have several of these dresses …. I see myself buying more . They are the only thing that is comfortable in the heat, and when the weather finally cools off they are adorable with a cardigan, jacket and boots. I get compliments on the vibrant colors and patterns, I don’t carry a purse because of the pockets. I feel comfortable. Perfection.
