Meet our production partner, SOKO Kenya! Based in Kikambala on the Kenyan coast, they are an ethical manufacturer that truly embraces a fair, kind and transparent work culture. In addition to paying above living wages, SOKO Kenya provides employees with paid leave and stipends for family emergencies, free pre-primary childcare for all employees with children from ages 2-4, daily mid-morning tea and midday lunch, and clear, outlined processes for job advancement. We work with an incredible network of fabric vendors in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi to source textiles. Over the years and many hundreds of prints, we've learned a lot about how to select fabrics. My favorite color is red and I knew my first red Zuri needed to be special. Easy Breezy absolutely fit the bill with its vibrant true red accented with gold, white and black. The feathers make me feel like flying!

My Easy Breezy arrived a bit roomier than most of my Zuris, so I have worn it a few times to take my grandkids to the beach or the park. You know kids love bugs. Well, the youngsters decided the feathers on Easy Breezy are really bugs, so now it is Gram's Bug Dress. If I squint a bit, I can almost see it. In my view, this Zuri gets a very high fun rating.
