When we say 100% Made in Kenya, we really mean it! Made from cotton grown in western Kenya and designed, printed and stitched outside of Nairobi, it doesn't get more local than this! The ecosystem for rotary printed fabrics is complex and truly global. While it's rare to see a rotary printed textile produced in a closed-circuit, farm-to-shop supply chain, the fabrics we're producing are verifiably 100% made in Kenya. Not just traceable, but local. Not just identifiable, but ethical and accountable.
Our production impacts hundreds of smallholder farmers and their families each year. It impacts young Kenyan artists whose voices and work may now have a slightly bigger audience (and fan club:) ). It impacts the Kenyan textile manufacturing industry, which for years has been out-competed in the local market by imported fabrics. Finally, it impacts you, because you can know that your dress was made ethically, honestly, and with pride.

Oh how I love this. Zuri got me again with a leaf print I can’t pass up! I purchased both the dress and shirt expecting to return or exchange one and I ended up keeping both -lol- the only other Zuri print I own two styles of is Eyeconic. Both have the lightweight 100% made in Kenya fabric that’s delightfully cooling in warmer weather.
I think the shade of yellow is what will be polarizing about this print cause some of the online pics show it being brighter but it leans more mustardy. I like the pops of sage green and hot pink in the leaves along with the white. It gives the otherwise more neutral background a much needed lift.
This print is designed by artist Rachel Wood and is in the 100% made in Kenya fabric. Light and breezy - perfect for warmer weather but this one doesn’t look as sheer which is great.

I Love this shirt so much, the colors and design is Beautiful! The fit and feel are perfect and I Loved pairing it with Jeans. Reminds me of Maple Syrup!!!

The background yellow in the photo turns out to be a darker orange-yellow in reality. But it's very pretty anyway.

Thank you so much for your review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that you love the Mighty Oak Shirt and that you found it very pretty despite the color not being as expected! We do take our photos outside in bright sunshine, so the color can be quite variable depending on what time of day and how sunny it is, but this is definitely something we're working on and I promise we'll improve the accuracy as best we can.
However, it's wonderful that the piece still captured your heart - sometimes those subtle variations in how colors translate can create their own unique beauty! We're so grateful that the shirt exceeded your expectations overall and earned such a lovely 5-star review from you.
