Well, given that I come from Southern Africa, buying a dress named Rooibos was an absolute no-brainer. Honestly, if Rooibos isn’t being snapped up by Zuristas from Southern Africa, then what are we even doing? How does that make sense? We should be leading the charge on this one , it practically has our name stitched into the seams.
Now, I’ll admit, browns aren’t usually in my wheelhouse. They don’t typically bring the drama I like. I’m a “make-an-entrance” kind of woman. But this one? Oh, it brought the drama. The moment I paired it with my accessories, everything clicked & the look was complete, the vibe unmatched.
I have absolutely no complaints about this dress. Stepping out of my comfort zone never looked this good, and I might just start rethinking my relationship with brown. Who knew that brown could behave this well? Not me!

Rooibos is a fine antidote to this drab and icy winter. The grey background has a slight purple cast and works well with faded denim; the red leaves are a warm orange, outlined in deep kelly green. Overall cheery and vibrant, but not screaming.
