    Lucky Bamboo

    I love the rich green color and almost velveteen-ish texture to this dress. I think the pattern can suit more formal settings - I wore it to the gala of a non-profit I volunteer with and happened to match the decor!

    Bamboo-tiful!

    I tried this one on at the Bleecker St store because I was drawn in by the bamboo pattern. Bamboo has a special place in my heart because of associations with luck and my love of pandas. The teals and greens are so vibrant that there was no way it wasn’t coming home with me. It’s a lovely midweight with a softer feel to it, and it looks great belted.

    Must have been kismet because the new set of pandas arrived at the National Zoo a few days later!
