When we say 100% Made in Kenya, we really mean it! Made from cotton grown in western Kenya and designed, printed and stitched outside of Nairobi, it doesn't get more local than this! The ecosystem for rotary printed fabrics is complex and truly global. While it's rare to see a rotary printed textile produced in a closed-circuit, farm-to-shop supply chain, the fabrics we're producing are verifiably 100% made in Kenya. Not just traceable, but local. Not just identifiable, but ethical and accountable.
Our production impacts hundreds of smallholder farmers and their families each year. It impacts young Kenyan artists whose voices and work may now have a slightly bigger audience (and fan club:) ). It impacts the Kenyan textile manufacturing industry, which for years has been out-competed in the local market by imported fabrics. Finally, it impacts you, because you can know that your dress was made ethically, honestly, and with pride.

This shirt is Fabulous! I Love the design and colors its so Artsy! The fit and feel is lovely. I will get lots of wear in the shirt . I wore it with Black leather pants and boots for a dressed up look but it can be worn dressed down also. I always Love this particular designers textile prints.

As you know from my long history of purchases, I'm mostly a red and black gal. I've been trying to broaden my selection. From the online picture, I thought this looked "peachy" and with my now gray hair I thought that would be attractive. I've a good track record on color - used to use the neckline shot which you seem to have discontinued, now I inspect the "swatch" - not quite as good for my purposes. Anyway, when it arrived I saw the color was way off for me (toooo beigy). I hate to return and seldom have but this just didn't work at all for me. Fine for other people. Sorry.
