No doubt this is a fun sweet dress. It’s very hard not to smile when you’re wearing it. But that’s probably because it reminds me of my childhood because it is dripping in primary colors. It looks much more muted in the photographs than it doesn’t real life. It is a definitely primary red blue and yellow. So it gives me a little bit of kindergarten vibes. I’m surprisingly OK with that once I figured out how to do the styling because it really is fun to wear.

I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t have chosen Encanto myself but it was a surprise dress where I asked for something bright 😊 . It’s really pretty and I am so pleased with it - it’s definitely bright! And I’ve had lots of compliments! It suits black tights and boots but I’ve worn with heels too for Christmas! I love it (and it’s so different from the Zuris I have already so has really broadened my colour palette!

I debated on this print weeks after its release and finally caved. I was thinking the colors would be too crayola loud, but on revisiting the dress I felt it made me feel happy wearing it as well as looking at it. All of the Zuri dresses and shirts I own make me feel my very best even on the gloomiest days and Encanto is no exception.
Fabric is substantial and a little stiffer on first wear. Feels very structured right now but I know over time it will soften.
I recently lost some weight and downsized to a M standard. I usually wear a US size 14 and I’m more hips than bust - aka pear shaped!
