Reminds me happily of foliose lichen, specifically maritime sunburst. Definitely tends to orange rather than yellow. Quality construction as always. And this particular dress came with the book Pockets... giving a historical perspective on women rarely getting the pockets we need and deserve. Thanks, Zuri, for fixing that.

I LOVE Eureka... when I first saw it I immediately thought of wearing it with some similarly coloured Fluevog boots... the combo didn't disappoint and I wore this very lively ensemble out almost right away... it's simply a gorgeous, bright and sunny pattern!

Eureka, (CA) is where I spent adventurous summers with my grandparents- I have always loved the word "Eureka"!
There were so many winding creeks that wended their way through the Redwoods- my friends and I were always wet from playing in the them, creating imaginary worlds and sailing leaf and stick boats. The pattern on Eureka is strongly reminiscent of the stones, leaves and bark that comprised the very creek beds in which we played. A lovely reminiscence.
