Up close this dress appears navy, red, and white (someone said it reminded them of July 4th—I disagree). However, the overall effect is PINK! (These photos only show the close-up view of the pattern.) I love wearing pink, and Knitty Gritty has joined my repertoire of pink Zuri dresses.

I’ve been looking for a pink dress for a while and nothing tickled my fancy. Nitty Gritty came along and I thought about it for a bit before I pounced, but it wasn’t until I wore it the first time that I realized that this was the pink dress that I had been waiting for. Up close it has quite a lot of red, but all those little white dots turn the overall effect onto pink. The fabric is soft and pretty lightweight and it layers well in winter and is going to be terrifically comfortable in summer.

I really love Knitty Gritty! The fabric is on the sturdier side and the design gives a feel of depth and texture. The colors lend themselves to many possibilities for coordinating outfits in different ways. The sleeves on my size (large) seem a bit narrower than on my other Zuri dresses.

I waited a long time on this dress but now am glad that I finally bought it. Fun to pick up the pink pattern in the dress & you can really change the look by playing around with different accessories which make it look pinker, more navy or even red.
