We're really proud to be working with Sasha, India's oldest fair trade cooperative to source ethically grown linen and cotton and to work with their experienced weavers in West Bengal to make these textiles. Learn more about these fabrics here!
Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

This Green Linen dress is Superb!!!The Linen collection are my absolute favorites because of how they fit and feel so Wonderfully. They sway and move delightfully and are so comfy I could sleep in them. The color of this dress is Magnificent! I had some fun with' The Rocks' wax figure!

Such a good green. Bright, deep, evoking the forest, the jungle, light, leaves. Feels great to wear and drapes beautifully, like all Zuri linens.

Love this fabric. The colour is richer, deeper and more saturated than photos show. And it isn't a flat colour but lightly textured (reminiscent of a linen cross-dye, even though it's not). Beautiful. I love the softness of it, the way it drapes. It's a perfect summer weight but will layer well in cooler weather (as you can see it looks great with Bee's Knees.) I found the fit a bit loose at first around the shoulders, but better after a cold wash and line dry. Would undoubtedly have returned to the original shape with ironing, but I didn't bother. Very nice and wearable as is - no major wrinkles except a bit around the hem.
