In order to create a batik fabric, recycled wax is melted and applied to the fabric using a stamped pattern. Edwina carves each stamped design herself in foam, which is easier to repurpose and work with than wood. Together with several women in Accra, Ghana, Edwina and her team always create designs that play on both pattern and layered color in a truly original way. Since we began working together in 2018, we've produced over 40 unique textiles together, keeping them in continuous production since we started. We're so honored to share this collaboration with Edwina and her team!

I am a fan of the sleeveless maxi, and a fan of circles, polka dots, and black. This dress hits them all. I’m thinking of pairing it with a standard Zuri with sleeves - maybe Ringleader?

The batiks are probably my favourite Zuri dresses, and this maxi doesn't disappoint... I love all the polka dots batiks, and this one with giant circles is fantastic! Because b&w/ grey is such a basic colourway and rather striking, I grabbed a chunky amber necklace and bracelet that go with my glasses, and added a grey cashmere sweater for a warm wintry combo... with a black down vest this was enough to keep me cozy in my Fluevog boots and merino wool tights... medium weight fabric, this will be a year-round dress!

I Love Love Love this Gorgeous print. They design reminds me of the Moon. The fit and feel is perfection! I decided to wear it with my Mustard Julahas wool Kimono for a Pop of color and it also matched the Fall Foliage so Beautifully!

How many dresses can you actually be madly in love with? When it comes to Zuri, apparently the number is infinite, and Moonstruck is yet another one that just knocked me off my feet. The maxi fit remains a new favorite of mine, and this dress is great for any dress-up or down. Another Zuri treasure for the closet!
