My husband did his usual stealth maneuver of going to the Zuri Fillmore store and asking which dresses I tried on and didn’t purchase. He chose Nightingale out of the bunch and gifted it to me for our anniversary, so it was what I wore on the day at work and to dinner.
The background is a deep navy - not black as I initially thought - and the leaves are berry red and peach. High contrast prints are always flattering for me and this is no exception. Fabric is also on the softer side.

This dress is soothing and fortifying while also being absolutely gorgeous. The very dark blue background is a perfect backdrop of the peachy and bright raspberry fuscia. The velvety texture feels like a lovely hug. I love it.

I now have two Zuri dresses in my collection and plan on adding more in the future. The dresses are expertly tailored and the fabric has body, yet is soft and comfortable. My only wish would be a petite length. I have altered the dresses by shortening them 3” for my short frame.
