I wasn't sure about this one when I ordered it, but it is beautiful. I love using purple accessories with it as the fuchsia leans purple. I probably reach for this dress the most out of any of the sleeved Zuri's I have, because it is just easy!

I bought this dress for my wife as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She doesn’t like to wear bright reds but the pattern has pink with the red which makes this one look more burgundy or magenta or something and she loves those deep reds. So, make your wife happy and buy her this dress.

I generally gravitate towards large scale prints with more asymmetry in the pattern, but Tuile Around couldn’t help but catch my eye. At first glance I see berry clusters and reels of film. Up close I think of kahelelani shell leis or seed bead bracelets…even barnacles! I even have a pair of miniature knife earrings where the handles mirror the spotted pattern in this print.
All the tiny details add a lot of visual texture and interest and I never tire of wearing this dress. It manages to be subtle, yet striking to my eyes. I love the color palette too - berry pink, magenta, white, and black. Fabric is on the softer side and drapes vs feeling crisp or stiff at first wear.

I loved this pattern so much, but when I ordered it, the “red” in the description was a very hot pink. My photo compares the pink in Tuile Around to other red Zuri patterns.
The fit was the same as previous dresses I’ve ordered.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for Tuile! I'm so sorry about the appearance of the color! We do take our photos outside in bright sunshine, so the color can be quite variable depending on what time of day and how sunny it is, but this is definitely something we're working on and I promise we'll improve the accuracy as best we can. I see that you've already got a return started and ordered a different dress! I would love to hear what you thought of Nom de Plume! Let us know!
